We won the Perodua Alza Facebook contest!

Remember the post we posted about the Perodua Alza Video contest? We won the Grand prize!! It was a LCD and a Home Theatre Set worth RM5,000!We were so lucky and we were very very glad that they've chosen us as the winner! Thank you Perodua Alza!!

We don't really have any confident in this contest because there were too many good entries that week. Somehow we tested our luck with some efforts! Yolk actually spent 16 hours straight doing the flash movie while Egg keep supporting Yolk the whole night through phone calls and SMS. Most of the ideas of the story boarding were from Egg actually.

Finally! The effort pays off! A million of thanks to those who have "like" our post in facebook and those who gave us moral support!!

Merry Christmas!

It's already Christmas! Time passes really fast! Last year we were blogging about Christmas events in Kuching and this year, we'll still do the same!

We went to Hartz Buffet for dinner. Lots of chicken? hehe!

We went to "the Spring@Kuching" last night to witness great caroling, Christmas play and fireworks!

Mister Potato Fiesta 2009 pictures!

Well, everything started when Egg asked my to join the Mr Potato Fiesta blogging contest. Wonder what we wrote for the contest? Click here!

Anyway, Egg was already in KL during 19th Dec, so I(yolk) flew all the way to KL for that event! (I guess we are the most crazy couple who visited KL just for an event all the way from KUCHING! =_=)

We reached "the mist" quite early, erm..5.30 I guess. We were the first to reach compare to other contestant (kiasu??) LOL!


The event was schedule to start on 6.30 so with plenty of time to spare, we started cam-whoring!


Guess what, after waiting for awhile, the REAL Mr Potato arrived and we both were like "Look! He's here! he's here!" (sakai =_=) So we quickly took some pictures with him.

Soon after that, the event started around 7 p.m. To cut the story short, I'll just go through the main scenario in the event!

It was a wonderful event and it gave us a very very good impression of events organized by nuffnang then Mamee! We hope to join more events from nuffnang :) Other than that, we met a lot of good friends and bloggers which we could hardly meet (across the South China Sea -_-").

The fiesta ended around 10.30p.m after the prize giving ceremony. We actually had some problems with transportation to go back to where we stayed but luckily we met a "wonderful, helpful, beautiful, etc-ful" blogger! Angel. She was our savior that night when she offered us a ride to the nearest LRT station.

Dear Angel: We both thinks that you were very beautiful in person and your Buggsy were the coolest guy ever! Thanks again! If we're going to Kajang, we'll definitely look for you and some satay. Do let us know if you are coming to Kuching in the future!

You might wonder which place we got in the contest. Hmm..I'm not telling you guys yet until we really got the prize in hand :)

Indulge? maybe not!

Today after work, Egg went over to Tropicana mall to meet up her friend for dinner (Ying, Pamela and her bf). They went to one of the restaurant named "Indulge". Here's what happened!




The waiters there were awfully rude! The food were bad! Egg almost end up in toilet after having her dinner there -_-" I don't think she'll ever step in that restaurant again!


short notes : I'll (yolk) will be going to KL later (Friday) to find Egg and attend the Mr Potato's event. Wish us luck ya :D

Great memories

It’s me again! I’m writing another post without Egg. She’s currently busy with her new job and she won’t be helping me on most of the updates of our blog -_-"

As you can see in our freshly drawn banner, we started our blog on the 13th December last year! In fact, we don’t even realize it until we look back at our previous post! It does bring back good memories.

I believe everyone of us here started our own blog with certain purpose and motives. As for us (Egg & Yolk), we started our blog because of a treasure hunting event held in Kuching in conjunction of Christmas in 2008. Still remember Minex?

If you’d like to know more about the past event, do read it here. Hopefully there’s such event again this year : P
